API Key Management
The API Key page is used to create and manage API credentials for a company workspace.
Use this page when an integration client needs to access the Actualog Public API on behalf of your company.
Who can manage API credentials
API credentials can be managed by users with the required company permissions, such as:
- Company Administrator
- Integration Manager
Access also depends on the company subscription plan. If API access is not included in the current plan, credential actions may be unavailable.
Current Plan
The Current Plan section shows whether API access is available for the selected company.
If API access is enabled, you can create or manage credentials for the company.
Credential details
The Credential details section shows the current API credential status.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Credential status | Shows whether credentials are active or not configured. |
| Client ID | Public identifier used by API clients. |
| API secret | Secret value used together with the Client ID. |
| Created (UTC) | Date and time when credentials were created. |
| Last updated (UTC) | Date and time when credentials were last changed. |
Keep API secrets secure
The API secret is sensitive.
The secret is shown only after you create credentials or rotate secret. Save it immediately in a secure place.
Do not store API secrets:
- in source code;
- in public repositories;
- in browser-side scripts;
- in shared documents;
- in unsecured messages.
Use a secure vault or another protected secret storage system.
Create credentials
Click Create credentials when the company does not yet have API credentials.
